WASHINGTON, DC –
Smith-Midland Corporation (SMC) (OTCQB: SMID) of Midland, VA earned first place honors in the annual AGC (Association of General Contractors) awards competition. The award was for an Architectural Precast project, 420 National Business Park (NBP) complex in Annapolis Junction, MD., in the under $150 million dollar category. The award was presented to the company by the Metro Washington chapter at its annual awards banquet in October 2014 at the Arena Stage Theater.
NBP is a 375-acre, 2.3 million square foot development strategically located at the southwest quadrant of the intersection of Route 32 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (I-295) in Anne Arundel County, immediately adjacent to the National Security Agency (NSA) and US Army facility, Fort Meade.
